Postdoc Position College Scholarship Applications:Modeling agro-ecosystems


The College Scholarship Applications successful candidate holds a PhD in agriculture, soil science, geo-ecology or related science with a background in crop production and / or soil science and expertise in using simulation models. Experience in developing process-based, numerical model at the interface soil-plants and in computer programming (C + +, C sharp) is a benefit. Ability to travel frequently to West Africa is expected and an excellent command of English or French is required. work experience in Africa would be beneficial.
This
College Scholarship Applications position is a position that full and paid in accordance with German regulations for scientists at Post Doc level (TVL-13). Applicants with more than three years of experience in scientific research may be eligible for additional upgrades. The project will run for 4.5 years with an early stage of 6 months, commencing on August 1, or as soon as possible.
